Microsoft Not to Fix Serious Lice in Windows 7

Microsoft, this weekend said it would launch a security update, on Tuesday next week. But just to correct a weakness in Windows.
Renewal is expected to improve the critical-level weaknesses in the most serious rating, calculated from the four-level assessment in Windows 2000. Fleas are also a serious impact on Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7, as well as Windows Server 2003, Server 2008, and Server 2008R2.
However, the company, admitted that they do not have a solution for bug (lice) which causes severe paralysis at the level of Windows 7, the public complained about two months ago.

"The first thing that should appear in ideas for improvement weakness is denial-of-service (refusal to service) in the latest Microsoft operating systems, and solutions remote code for Windows 2000," said director of security operations at nCircle Network Security, Andrew Strom, this weekend.

The weakness was a gap that can be exploited by hackers. But, Microsoft is instead planning to spend the improvement in the near future. It was mentioned by Microsoft's security spokesman, Jerry Bryant.

He said Microsoft will not fix denial-operation of the software in Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2. Besutan company that Bill Gates did not even make a point of weakness as a threat, including for users of Windows 2000.

"Index ranking this problem is not too high, even lower than the overall risk," said Jerry Bryant, in a posting on the blog sebuat center of the company's security response, this weekend.

"However, currently, we are still the center to solve these problems," he added.

In fact, in mid-November and then, Microsoft has confirmed that a bug in SMB (Server Message Block / Barrier messages on server) - that is, a creation of Microsoft's network file also functions as a print-sharing protocol (print sharing systems in the network) - potentially a gap for the attacker to disable the Windows machine 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2. Microsoft tried to convince the public, that weakness can not be used to attack PCs.

Security hole in Windows 7 first reported by researchers from Canada, Laurent Gaffie, on November 11 last, just a day after Microsoft released the improved edition of the month.

According to Laurent, when hackers exploit these gaps, there will be damage to the system overall in Windows 7 and Server 2008 R2, so the only way out is to turn off the computer manually

"From the public perspective of the user, of course I would expect Microsoft to patch the gap in the SMB in this month," said Andrew Storm.

"But I also was not surprised when they did not do, because for them it was only considered lice resistance-operation in the OS that is relatively trivial."
