Multipurpose single socket server Fujitsu Primergy TX150 S7 Star certified Enegrgy server 1.0 as efficient in energy consumption in its class.
Measurement of energy consumption level in accordance with testing guidelines with benchmarks established independent agency Standard Performance Evaluation Corporation (SPEC).
Fujitsu designed a single-socket servers Primergy TX150 tower S7 and the Primergy RX100 rack S6 also has received the same certification as the optimal-cost multi-purpose servers. Both server models were also designed to provide high performance but it can minimize environmental impact through energy efficiency.
Single-socket server architecture Fujitsu Primergy TX150 S7 is designed for efficient in energy consumption. The results of this latest SPECpower ssj2008 confirmed these architectural advantages, namely reaching 2187 Watt ssj_ops per unit of electricity. SPECpower ssj2008 benchmark developed by SPEC to evaluate independently the power and performance characteristics of the computers in the classroom server volume.
Fujitsu Primergy TX150 achievement S7 is a new record best in class SPECpower further push the boundaries of a single socket servers. These results also indicate that the system can be used for greater purposes, which go beyond a single socket machine in general, such as virtualization and database.
"Fujitsu is admirable achievement in the benchmark single-socket SPECpower showed superiority of our technology to industry standard x86 servers. This also proves that energy efficiency does not need to sacrifice system performance, "said Motohiko Uno, Head of Regional Business Platform Fujitsu, through its official statement on Thursday (25/2/2010).
Kurnia Wahyudi, Country Manager of Fujitsu's Platform Products Indonesia, said the results of measurements showed a single socket SPECpower the company's commitment to continue to offer and combines key technologies and products to produce the optimal IT infrastructure.
"By doing all that, we are committed to offer our customers products that are optimized platforms for IT infrastructure," said Kurnia.
