Reportedly, the Yahoo email service users will be able to update Facebook status through their email accounts.This effort to bring Yahoo a much richer service to his property online. In the redesign, Yahoo says will soon test the ability of new service this week, involving some Yahoo user selected.
Users who will use this feature, they first have to connect their account on Yahoo and Facebook them. They can do so by clicking the 'add to Facebook' at the What's New in Yahoo Mail. Then they did sig in.
If the two accounts are mutually connected, users can type a message in the status box that appears in Yahoo Mail and choose the option to post them on Facebook, Yahoo, or both.
As reported by PC World, Tuesday (30/3/2010), if they choose to post them on Yahoo, the status update will appear in the page What's New in Yahoo Mail that will only be seen by friends in their email contact list.
Yahoo mentions, this integration is the first step of many they plan to add the Yahoo email service. Last month, Yahoo also allows users to import Facebook friends email addresses to your Yahoo contact list.
Previously Google email service, Gmail also provides a similar feature. With these features, Gmail users can write information on the status of Gmail and directly connected with social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, YouTube and Picasa.
