Browser Opera 10.60

Last March, Opera released a new browser. Now a Norwegian software producers are bringing back the update, namely Opera 10.60. Though still in Beta, Opera claims the latest version of the browser is 50 percent faster than its predecessor when running certain JavaScript.

In addition to increased speed, 10.60 Opera also has new features such as web standards and WebM Geolocation HTML5 video support.

"Opera is very fast beta 10.60 and will make you surprised," claims Christen Krogh, Chief Development Officers, Opera Software, in his testimony, June 17, 2010. "This new browser combines the speed and features an intuitive, easy to use," he said.

In terms of speed, Opera Turbo which has been available since Opera 10 released claimed to be able to optimize the performance of the browser. "The test proved that with Turbo Opera faster browsing on EDGE around 65% and the 3G network has increased to 50% faster," said Krogh.

One new feature is embedded at 10.60 Opera beta is search suggestions via our partners and Opera Speed Dial search box. "You can test the features in this beta version for searching the Wikipedia," said Krogh.
