Motorola Milestone with Android 2.1

Motorola, Monday (5/4/2010), announced the presence of the Indonesian market Milestone equipped with the latest platform Android 2.1. This is the first smartphone with Android 2.1 is officially first entered Indonesia.
With the Android platform 2.1, this device offers the ability to use different applications at the same time and is one of the thinnest slider Qwerty phone in the world because only 13.7 mm thick. Milestone also has a high resolution screen measuring 3.7 inches with a pinch and zoom capabilities with a resolution of more than 400,000 total pixels.

A number of mobile applications from Google are available include a Google Search, Google Maps, Google Mail and YouTube integrated into the mobile phone. In addition, users have access to thousands of applications and widgets from Android Market which can be downloaded either free or paid.

"As a platform device Android 2.1, Milestone is designed to enhance consumers' mobile experience, and experience with full-screen web browsing, the ability to switch between different applications and Google's applications," said Agus Pranata, Director of Country Operations, Motorola Mobile Devices, International Markets in the release press.

Milestone will be widely available in Indonesia market from 5 April 2010. This product was first introduced in the U.S. market in CDMA networks with a Droid and on GSM networks in Europe by the name of Milestone. Previously, Indosat also bring Motorola's Milestone through pre order before the exhibition Indocomtech 2010.

- 3.5 mm headset jack
- Plus CrystalTalk for high sound quality
- 8GB memory cards

- Board of Google's applications are incomplete: Google Search, Google Maps with Google's Latitude, Gmail, YouTube, and Google Talk
- Google and Microsoft's Unified Office Contacts
- Navigation: GPS, navigation MOTONAV directed, Google Maps, Latitude E-Compass
- Email Support: IMAP and POP, Google Mail
- IM Support: Google Talk
- Calendar: Exchange, synced with Google Calendar
