Aimec 3

A British inventor has created a robot as an assistant and companion of man. The robot can talk, play music and take care of some home work.Tony Ellis and his wife Judie create a robot that is named Aimec 3 (artificially Intelligent Mechanical Electronic Companion 3) to entertain them and could help some of their homework.

'In 10 years into the future, every home will have a robot. They will help with the cooking, cleaning, and others. The development process will not stop. Tony Ellis said. "One thing is for sure, the robot will become a big issue." We are at the same phase as the issue of computers in the '80s, when that time many people who hesitate. "Ellis added.

This robot uses a camera in one eye, which could see the whole house and can not understand verbal instructions, such as turn on the television, turn off the lights, and others. In addition the robot is also connected to the internet to read news. Even Aimec 3 also can sing, give a joke and do some improvisation.

Currently Tony Ellis and his wife are looking for parties who want to produce commercially Aimec 3. They both believe that in two years in the future robots will be sold in stores with prices around 200 Euros.

Tony Ellis and Judie also runs a toy company named Conceptioneering, who worked in the field of robot technology. Ellis decided to work full-time as an inventor in 2001, having previously worked as an electronics engineer in the field of GPS systems, technology, airplane and car alarm company.
