Blocking Twitter Account

The South Korean government recently blocked an official Twitter account of state-owned rivals, North Korea.

As reported by Mashable site, South Korean communications regulator, states that the Tweet-Tweet posted North Korea via their Twitter account, contains illegal information.

Only about a week ago, North Korea made an official Twitter account they are to avert the information circulating in the media, they were deemed detrimental to their side.

North Korea's official Twitter account called @ Uriminzok it is in the Indonesian language, means 'our people'. Although 36 Tweet new post is made on August 12 since then, North Korea has managed to Twitter accounts to pick up about 9652 follower.

Blocking was marked 'war' the two countries which has now spread to the virtual domain. For North Korea itself is their new strategy in the digital world, considering that 24 million North Korean citizens could not enjoy Internet access.

It seems that Twitter account that was deliberately created to be an instrument of propaganda aimed at winning the hearts of the people of South Korea and countries outside of North Korea.

Not only create Twitter accounts, North Korea also recently launched their official site on YouTube. According to reports, most North Korean Tweet Twitter account contains the praises of North Korea and burlesque to the United States and South Korea.

Honestly when the then South Korea is blocking Twitter account. Besides South Korea are also blocked 64 sites run by North Korea as well as sites that are pro-North Korea policies.

But until now South Korea has not blocked the YouTube site of North Korea. Until recently China, and Pakistan also had the chance to block Twitter. But North Korea does not block Twitter site as a whole but specifically North Korea's Twitter account.
