AMD introduces new graphics card line aimed at the beginner-intermediate class (entry-mid). While preparing to upgrade, first identify a number of products.

There are three products that are ready to be released AMD. They are the AMD Radeon HD 6670, HD 6570 and HD 6450. Although AMD has not released the third will this GPU in the near future, but they share information on the specifications, which is engraved with the name of the code Turks and Caicos.

Built with 40 nm architecture, equipped with power Turks VLIW5 480 stream processors, DirectX 11, and supported by GDDR5 128-bit wide memory controller (supports GDDR3). Radeon HD 6670 and HD 6570 GPUs are based on two Turks.

Both have 480 stream processors. However proseso HD 6670 ran at a speed of 800 Mhz, with memory 1000 MHz (effective 4GHz), 512 MB RAM and 1 GB DDR5.

While the HD 6570 is also based Turks with 650 core clock speeds, and comes with two choices of specification of different memory clock speeds for manufacturing. If manufacturers choose GDDR3, they would have clocked 900 Mhz (1.80 GHz GDDR3), with memory bandwidth of 28.8 GB / s. If they choose GDDR5, they get the clock 1000 MHz (effective 4:00 GHz), with memory bandwidth of 64 GB / s.

The latter is the Radeon HD 6450. GPU-based Caicos is a special present for a beginner class. This GPU has 160 stream processors VLIW5, 64-bit memory controller that supports GDDR5 and DDR3.
