Super Mini Lab

|

Rather than have to bring patients to the laboratory, scientists at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), United States (U.S.), preferring to enter a 'lab' super-sized mini into the body of the patient.

Sophisticated, 'lab' is placed in a small capsule which is then implanted in the patient's body. Lab is used to detect tumors, heart damage, even the potential for heart attacks in the patient's body.

Because of the small size of miniature lab, researchers or doctors can drill through a needle biopsy or during normal inspection.

Furthermore, the tool is left inside the body, watching every development that occurs in the body and send the reports to a computer for analysis by a physician.

The inside of the 'mini labs' filled by such nanoparticle-containing antibodies that are specifically designed to be tied to specific molecules, such as that produced by certain types of tumors or damaged heart muscle cells.

There is also a porous membrane that keeps the nanoparticle while the other molecules from the body through it. Well, then the doctor can check the group of particles by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is simple.

From here, could be determined the density of certain molecular groups and doctors can detect the presence of a nearby tumor is growing or shrinking. Or, in the case of heart patients, doctors can monitor a heart attack are not known or signs of heart tissue damage.
