|

For the second time Adobe made a patch (modification) on his second PDF software, ie Adobe Reader and Acrobat.

This modification effort performed after approximately 29 Adobe found that there are weaknesses in their applications the popular PDF used by professionals. According to Adobe, if these weaknesses have been left so this will be used by the 'cyber attack' to retrieve important data of the user.

"This weakness could lead to application crashes and invites potential hackers to take over the infected system," said the advisory Adobe as quoted by Computer World, Wednesday (14/10/2009).
These modifications include versions 9.2, 8.1.7 and 7.1.4 present in both types of Adobe. In addition, the modification also applies to the entire platform Adobe both Windows, Macintosh and UNIX.

Previously, Adobe had captured 13 of the 29 bugs that are categorized as 'potentially dangerous changes to the code'. Even this weakness can be turned into a system that can be 'hijacked'. Unfortunately, unlike Microsoft, Oracle and other software vendors, Adobe does not provide the rating system 'flawed' is going on here.

Adobe has ever confirmed that one of the weaknesses found have been used to exploit the weak PDF files. After that, Adobe promised to correct this deficiency.
