APC 'join' with Microsoft

APC said it had joined the Microsoft System Center Alliance. Collaboration both intended to enhance and provide support for monitoring critical physical infrastructure by integrating InfraStruXure Central with Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007.

APC Management Pack for System Center Operations Manager 2007 enables the integration of systems and monitoring services in multi-vendor environment. Integration of data center management suite with APC peration Manager System Center 2007 Microsoft is expected to provide the ability to oversee and manage the physical infrastructure, including electricity, cooling systems, space and security, and provide a comprehensive view of the 'health' servers, applications, and client in the data center.
