20% in London Illegal Software

Bussines Software Alliance (BSA) noted that one in five in London, the software used illegally and this is a significant threat to the business environment in the British capital London.

This is what makes BSA in the past two months diligently campaigning to raise awareness of the risk of using software piracy and unlicensed software. Especially after research IDC recently revealed local businesses using illegal software worth 149 million pounds each year.

"Software piracy is a major problem in London. For why we continue to seek enforcement of the latest campaign action against companies that use pirated software in London," explained a spokesman for British BSA Alyna Cope quoted as SC Magazine, Friday (4/9/2009 ).

"BSA will continue to do long-term campaign, so that piracy in London could really pressed," he said.
Even recently, BSA has run in one of the companies in London who has made piracy by not using the software Adobe Photoshop and Autodesk's AutoCAD is licensed in the seven computers in their offices.

As a result of using pirated software, the BSA estimates that there kerugiaan to reach 10 thousand pounds in the seven computer.
