Easy Laptop Battery Cause Fire

Researchers at the University of Cambridge, England, believed that the metal fibers, known as the dendrite is one of the main reasons why the lithium batteries cell phones (mobile phones) in portable computers and other devices so easy to burn too hot. Batteries in laptops and cell phones are designed to fill quickly. However, this can cause the dendrite to form carbon on the anode of the battery. Said team of scientists at the University of Cambridge, recently.
The research team hopes to get a better understanding about the shape of dendrite and how to stop the development. However, scientists are using nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy to track the development of dendrite. It is expected that this information will help electronics manufacturers to improve safety in the production of lithium batteries.

Clare Gray, one of the researchers from the chemistry department of Cambridge University said, "This deadly Fibre lithium has become the bottleneck very quickly to commercialize a new generation of higher-capacity battery."

"Batteries are not flammable must be found, before the recent discovery of lithium-ion batteries, before the use of batteries of this type is more widely used as mass transportation." Grey added, "Now we are only able to monitor the formation of dendrite in the battery, we can identify when they are formed and changed under any circumstances.
