Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping called for vigorous developed countries to provide green technology. Thus, China will be able to grow in future as resource-saving society. Similarly as reported by NHK, Sunday (11 / 4). The statement was delivered by Xi Jinping at the opening session of the annual Boao Forum for Asia Conference on the island of Hainan, southern China, yesterday.
Xi said China has achieved average growth of 9.8 percent for more than 30 years since the beginning of economic reform and open door policy. He also said that China's economic growth is hampered by environmental problems and inefficiencies of resource use.
Xi steps to promote the appeal of green technology is considered as one of the current effort in which he digadang-gadangkan China will become the next president. Observers also say the move Xi for environmental technology to show that China will focus on environmental projects as the core of economic development.
