Sony put on a TV Game 3D

Sony Corp. will soon launch a three-dimensional television (3D) for the first time in the Japanese market, on June 10 next. Besides TV, the company also will make her debut with the present 3D games slated for the PS3 console.

The plan has come from Sony Europe that have been announced for the debut of 3D four-game format that the PS3 will be bundled with the new TV lineup. 3D-format game itself consists of, PAIN, Wipeout HD, Super Stardust HD and Motorstorm Pacific Rift.


"Each of our TV sales with PSN voucher code to get access to a 3D version of the Playstation game. It will include a firmware update in June in order to accommodate changes in 3D," wrote a spokesman for Sony in its statement, quoted by TG Daily, Friday (16 / 4 / 2010).

For the international market itself, this 3D television will slide after officially present in Japan on June 10 next. However, the giant electronics manufacturer that was not knowing exactly when 3D TV will be sold freely across the world. Electronics and entertainment company will debut with two different TV sizes, namely 46-inch size that will sell for USD3, 875 and measures 40 inches sold approximately USD3, 000.

Sony is the third company which plans to launch the competition in 3D TV business. Previously, Panasonic Corp., also doing a similar plan. Panasonic plans to launch 3D TV in the U.S. working with Best Buy as a retailer.
