10 Moment Internet Influential Version Webby Awards

Simple birth, the fall of Napster, the emergence of the iPhone, Facebook and Twitter becomes part of the history of the 10 appeared on the internet this century and is considered the most influential.

Webby Awards event hosted by the Academy of Digital Arts and Science, based in New York, also cited Iran's election protest events, the expansion of Craigslist, and the launch of Google Adwords as the most historic events on the Internet.

"The Internet has its own history in this century because it can change every aspect of our lives everyday, both in terms of commercial and communications, to politics and pop culture," said Webby Awards executive director David-Michael Davies, was quoted as saying by the AFP, Thursday ( 19/11/2009).

According to David, a Webby Award trying to find a phenomenon that makes the Internet changing everyday habits, even able to change the system that makes power in the hands of ordinary people.

Winners of the Webby Awards event to be held 14th of April 2010. In addition to the moment of the most influential category, Webby will also provide a variety of categories including the most influential news sites, interactive advertising, and other categories of film and video online.
