Four schools in Singapore share the IPAD free to their students in order so that students will no longer carry heavy books and records in the bag. Nanyang Girls High School has spent the money of USD100 thousand to purchase 150 pieces iPad. The amount is divided by approximately 140 units for students and 10 units for teachers.

Seah Hui Yong of Nanyang Girls School said iPad device was chosen because it complements the new method of teaching school, which students are given more freedom to learn on their own, rather than learning with traditional methods.

Yong mengaskan is not because they like Apple. Although now many emerging media tablets that are cheaper, the schools still choose iPad.

Yet there is also anxiety about the way how to enable the student is not addicted to these gadgets, so they will not visit illegal websites.
