In a recent presentation to investors recently, Sony says they plan to increase the capabilities of three-dimensional (3D) in the game's PlayStation 3 (PS3) through a firmware update."All units be on the PS3 firmware upgrade that has a satisfactory kapsitas 3D," said Sony spokesman, as quoted by Gizmodo, Sunday (22/11/2009).
Sony says this step aims to 3D gaming market memimpinh and intended to offer specific tools for 3D game developers who make games on that platform.
3D games on the PS3 seems to be one component of market penetration strategy by Sony. They take advantage of 3D technology is not only in games but also for television product and Blu-ray high definition and the projector. Even the plan, in 2010 Sony will install the 3000 projection for 3D cinema.
Sony is optimistic, the device will be more interesting game for the consumer interest to buy it. They believe, a touch of 3D and Motion Controller on the PS3 can increase their profits more until 2011
