Despite the decline in sales, Nintendo officially refused to update them on the Wii device.In a statement quoted from the Tech Digest, Tuesday (10/11/2009), Nintendo's U.S. president Reggie Fils-Aime confirmed this relevant. He denied rumors that mention next year will update the Nintendo Wii that allows HD capabilities.
This rumor originated from the words of a Wedbush Morgan analyst Michael Patcher named. Fils-Aime then denied the news and stated that Patcher is the only person who believed this.
"I do not know how else we can assure that the Wii HD is not there. We have no plans to update the Wii device camp," said Fils-Aime.
Although Fils-Aime may have presented the official line for the Wii HD, but it seems there is absolutely no plan to do updates in the future Wii device.
The analysts say, with incessant Sony and Microsoft prepare the latest gaming control systems 'motion-controller' next year, Nintendo seems to have made some changes that are not easily eroded by other game manufacturers.
