Qualcomm's Snapdragon-based Smartbook Announce

Qualcomm, the leading vendor for smartphone processors, officially announced the Snapdragon-based systems smartbook first in the world. This product will debut on display in a computer exhibition Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States.

Itself be an Smartbook latest product is a combination of intelligent posel (smartphones) and netbooks. Later Qualcomm will menggandengn Lenovo to design in smartbook Snapdragon. In addition to product announcements, chip maker also said that this first smartbook will be sold through a network operator AT & T, with a subsidized price through the contract.
Quoted from Softpedia, Monday (16/11/2009), smartbook Snapdragon-based Lenovo would 'contain' central processing unit (CPU) with an ARM-based high-definition video (HD) 720p. These chipsets will accommodate the needs of good performance and battery life is longer. You could say there are features in smartbook erode the boundary between high-end mobile phones and ultraportable computer systems.

For the operating system, smartbook Lenovo seems to be embedded with Linux operating system. Unfortunately, no details of current prices, but certainly smartbook officially launched at the Consumer Electronics Show (CSE) 7 to January 10, 2010 which will come in Las Vegas.
