Increase Google Purchase Gizmo5 VoIP

Google expands its wings in the business to develop Internet protocol-based voice (VoIP) by acquiring Gizmo5, a VoIP software company for mobile phones and computers.

But Gizmo5 not disclose the terms of the agreement between the two companies. In a blog posting, Google said that for now Gizmo5 users can still continue to use the service, and do not need to register for this moment.

Very little information about Gizmo5. This service alone is similar to Skype that allows users to remove a small fee or even free to make calls through their computers. Gizmo5 also offers clients for mobile phone users. So that was launched by the AFP, Jumat (13/11/2009).

Gizmo5 also reportedly similar to the Google Voice, where users are offered a variety of services including voicemail and call. Users can also get a new phone number and use the same number on some phones.

Today, Gizmo5 and Google has integrated Google Voice customers can go to Gizmo5 numbers as one of their phones.

Gizmo 5 hooks into Google's acquisition of the four that have been announced since the beginning of this year. Not only Gizmo5, earlier this week Google said it would buy admob for USD750 million.
